Social Media Committee

The Social Media Committee supports the visibility and educational outreach efforts of the ConstructHER Legal Network. This role goes far beyond posting content on social media. Volunteers will be involved in researching industry developments, legal updates, case studies, events, and trends within the construction and infrastructure sector. The insights generated through this research will form the foundation of our content strategy and educational initiatives. Members of this committee will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of construction law, project delivery, dispute resolution, infrastructure development, and related industry topics through practical, hands-on research.

Key responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the Network's LinkedIn presence and future social media platforms.
  • Develop and maintain a monthly social media content calendar.
  • Conduct research on construction law, infrastructure, dispute resolution, and industry developments.
  • Drafting content, event promotions, announcements, and educational posts.
  • Coordinate with the Steering Committee regarding content priorities and campaigns.
  • Support visibility for webinars, conferences, publications, and community initiatives.

Members will help identify opportunities to grow the network, establish partnerships, increase membership, and build relationships with universities, professional institutions, industry associations, and potential collaborators. Volunteers may support outreach activities in any jurisdiction and are not restricted to the region in which they are located. The committee encourages a global perspective and welcomes members from all jurisdictions.

The Administration Committee supports the operational and organizational functions of the ConstructHER Legal Network. This committee plays an essential role in ensuring that events, communications, and initiatives are delivered efficiently. Volunteers will work closely with the Steering Committee and gain exposure to the planning and coordination of professional events and industry initiatives. This role provides a unique opportunity to interact with industry leaders and professionals through event coordination, communication management, and organizational support.

  • Assist with event coordination and logistics.
  • Support webinar and conference administration.
  • Assist with email communications and member correspondence.
  • Coordinate meeting schedules and follow-up actions.
